Presenting the initial teaser video prototype of the experience, which was previously showcased to The Sandbox team.
As the Level Designer, Project Manager, and Creative Designer for "The Valley of Belonging," a groundbreaking project launched in The Sandbox metaverse during the 2022 Pride Month, I am thrilled to showcase the success and creativity that went into its development. This immersive experience was honored with two prestigious awards, including the coveted title of Best Metaverse Experience.

Throughout the project, my multifaceted role allowed me to shape a unique vision for "The Valley of Belonging." With a clear understanding of the narrative, I divided the virtual landscape into two distinct halves. On one side, a magical forest seamlessly blended with the city, highlighting the harmony between nature and urban life. On the other, the Pride Museum, City Hall, and Freedom Plaza provided public spaces for individuals to gather, share stories, and celebrate their identities.

At the heart of this metaverse masterpiece lies a symbolic representation of unity—a valley with a magical river that cuts through the city, signifying the occasional divisions within the LGBTQ+ community and their collective strength in overcoming challenges.

The incorporation of the rainbow symbolized more than just a visual aesthetic; it served as a navigational guide, ensuring that visitors never lost their way while exploring the enchanting landscape. The path, adorned with the iconic rainbow, led explorers through the captivating features of the Valley, offering a seamless and delightful journey.

One of the standout features is the Pride Museum, a colossal structure designed to captivate and inspire. Shaped like a giant hand, this man-made marvel serves as an iconic and monumental centerpiece, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in art and enjoyment.

"The Valley of Belonging" is not just a metaverse experience; it's a testament to creativity, inclusivity, and the power of unity. Through my roles as Level Designer, Project Manager, and Creative Designer, I aimed to create an unforgettable virtual world that resonates with individuals from all walks of life, fostering a sense of belonging and celebration within the LGBTQ+ community.

1. Initiating the establishment of connection points between the two parts of the city, involving the integration of buildings and the primary structure of the Pride Museum.
2. Development of the "Pink Source" and detailing of the buildings on the left side of the Valley, focusing on intricate detailing.
3. Adding further details to buildings and open areas, as well as incorporating Non-Player Characters (NPCs) to enhance the immersive experience.
4. Designing the magical forest, implementing rainbow pathways, and enhancing the landscape with lush vegetation for a more immersive experience.
5. Crafting the Pride Parade in the clouds, introducing additional NPCs, establishing pathways to reach the clouds, and incorporating parkour areas for added engagement.
6. Applying the final polish to the overall experience, integrating street art with affirming messages to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
